This orange chicken recipe is one of my favorite easy Chinese food recipes. Maybe you've tried it at fast food restaurants, but I personally think this one is much better. Orange and lemon juice will do the miracle.
1. Chicken breasts -- 2 lbs, boneless skinless, cut into 1 inch cubes.
Marinade the chicken: Place the cubed chicken in a bowl and add the marinade ingredients.
Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes or so to let the flavor sink in.
In the meantime, prepare the sauce into one bowl. Don't add in the garlic and ginger yet.
Heat the wok and add oil, then add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry until aromatic.
Add the marinaded chicken and stir-fry until completely cooked. Take it out (some people like to push it up to the sides of the wok, making a well in the middle of the wok. I personally suggest to take it out to keep the tenderness).
Add the sauce into the wok, blend well over medium heat until boil .
Combine the sauce and the chicken. Stir-fry for another minute and here you go, Chinese orange chicken of your own. Serve it hot and ENJOY!
