Cabbage Diet Soup Recipe

Cabbage is low in calories while high in fiber and nutrition. It's good to have in your diet.

If you have a gout condition, Napa cabbage is ideal to have in your gout diet because it contains no purine, a substance in foods and our bodies that causes gout.

Here is a very simple and delicious soup recipe using Napa cabbage. It mixes the natural flavors of the ingredients to achieve a refreshing taste.

Ingredients:

  • Napa cabbage -- Half head, roughly cut into 1/2 wide rectangles
  • Eggs -- 2
  • Water -- 4 cups
  • Vegetable oil -- 1 tablespoon
  • Salt -- to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat the oil to hot in a wok over high heat. While waiting, beat the eggs in a small bowl.

  2. Add beaten eggs to the wok. Flip the eggs when the bottom side is golden. Fry the other side until golden too.

  3. Break the eggs into small pieces using a spatula, then add water. Bring water to a boil.

  4. Add Napa Cabbage. Bring to a boil again.

  5. Add salt and mix well. Turn off heat.

  6. Enjoy!
